Da li je umetnost sama po sebi uzvišena
Često su generacije rođene u poslednjih tridesetak godina taoci priča o tome kako je nekad bilo bolje. Nema dana da neko stariji ne kaže da je “u Titino” vreme bilo lepo, srećno i berićetno, a neki se danas sećaju čak i vremena kralja kad je bilo bolje nego u posleratnom periodu. I da je danas živ neko ko se rodio u vreme Sulejmana Veličanstvenog, verovatno bi rekao da je to vreme bilo bolje od ovog sad.
Na stranu nagađanja i subjektivni doživljaji, zaista je vreme pre Slobodana Miloševića pružalo veće mogućnosti za umetnike. Radili su muzeji, pozorišta, bioskopi, biblioteke, čitali se klasici i poznavala opšta kultura. Generacije rođene nakon Drugog svetskog rata imale su praktično sve mogućnosti i imali su gde i kako da stvaraju i izlažu stvoreno. Nije doduše bilo lako doći do instrumenata i ostale opreme kao danas, ali je bilo izvodljivo.
Danas često zavidimo tim starijim generacijama jer su za razliku od nas imale otvorene i dostupne kulturne ustanove i mislimo da je to bezrezervno dobro uticalo na njih. Međutim, baš te generacije su bile one koje su Jugoslaviju uništile u pepelu i krvi. Baš oni su zatvorili i muzeje i domove kulture i bioskope i sve drugo. Baš oni su degradirali kulturni i obrazovni sistem. Kako sad to? Kako to da su oni koji su prve ljubavi ostvarivali u bioskopima i oni koje je obrazovni sistem učio o značaju kulture i umetnosti budu ti koji su doneli smrtnu presudu ustanovama kulture i samoj kulturi?
Da li je prisustvo kulturnih institucija presudno da bi kultura funkcionisala? Danas imamo najezdu stvaralaca svih vrsta i svako je neki delatnik, ako ništa drugo, barem motivacioni govornik ili lajf kouč u nedostatku svakog drugog talenta. Svako odeljenje u svakoj školi ima svoju rep grupu, svaki studijski program na fakultetima ima svoju umetničku trupu, svako je izdao ili piše bar jednu knjigu i to u vremenu kada su institucije nedostupne i u rasulu. Ipak, ta bujica stvaralaca odnela je sa sobom standarde, baš kao što su rat i nemaština odneli ustanove. Tako danas imamo situaciju gde gomila ljudi stvara sve i svašta van svake kontrole i bez cilja i standarda.
Ako tu masu u startu podelimo na one kojima umetnost služi kao sredstvo za sticanje popularnosti, na one koji su se u potpunosti posvetili umetnosti bez ikakvih skrivenih namera i one kojima umetnost služi kao podloga za ideološka opredeljenja, a potom ove prve odmah precrtamo, možemo malo podrobnije sagledati umetničku scenu danas.
Ukoliko ste među onima koji umetnost podređuju ideologijama i političkim programima, vaša umetnost biće obojena bojama vaših ideologija, a to neće promaći oku posmatrača. U tom slučaju, vi se bavite politikom, a to je ono što guši i zlostavlja kreativnost i samo delo koje nastaje za potrebe ideologija. Preporuka za ovu grupu stvaralaca je da se ne ustežu i što pre uzmu stranačke članske karte i idu tamo gde im je i mesto, a to su odbori, mitinzi i radna mesta u državnom sektoru bez obzira da li su naklonjeni vlasti ili opoziciji jer onaj koji se bori protiv vlasti, taj se zapravo bori da bude vlast.
Ostaje onaj deo stvaralaca koji su se u potpunosti posvetili umetnosti. Oni su izvrsni poznavaoci umetnosti, tehnike crtanja, sviranja, imaju pogled na svet potpuno usklađen sa svojim umetničkim opredeljenjem. To su pisci, pesnici, muzičari, vizuelni umetnici izuzetno istančanog ukusa i stila. Oni u svemu mogu pronaći inspiraciju. I u sreći i u nesreći. Među njima vidimo ljude sa završenim umetničkim fakultetima i akademijama i ogromnim brojem izložbi i nastupa u javnosti. Međutim, njih vreba jedna opasnost, a to je “umetnički autizam”. To što su se u potpunosti posvetili umetnosti ih je odvojilo od svakodnevnog sveta i njegovih potreba. Upravo ti bezrezervni zaljubljenici u umetnost vode je u ćorsokak. Svet u svoj svojoj kompleksnosti ide u jednom pravcu, a umetnost u drugom. Umetnici sve više odbijaju da prate savremene tokove i povlače se u svoj svet i sistem stvaralaštva misleći da tako rade pravu stvar za umetnost, jer, što bi se tako uzvišen poziv bavio svakodnevnim svinjarijama. Tako Marina Abramovič gleda u magarca, a zaljubljenici u umetnost gledaju u Marinu isto kao i taj magarac. Njemu ništa nije jasno, ni ko je Marina, ni čime se bavi, ni zašto je doveden pred neko ljudsko biće koje kleči pred njim… I taj magarac ima potpuno pravo da ne razume ništa jer na spisku njegovih životnih potreba verovatno nema mesta za performanse. Magarac bi bio mnogo srećniji da je Marina došla sa balom sena ili kockom šećera umesto što ga maltretira za potrebe svoje umetnosti. Isto se može reći i za ljude.
Umetnost koja je postala sama sebi cilj, ne može biti razumljiva i ne može biti potrebna bilo kome. Zamislite da odete kod lekara na pregled, a on vas gleda dva sata i za to vam naplati 100.000 dolara. Takav lekar nikom nije potreban, kao što ni takva umetnost nikom nije potrebna.
Mi se možemo folirati do sutra kako se razumemo u svu tu uzvišenost savremene umetnosti, ali teško da ćemo se sa njom zaista saosećati. A i to što ćemo biti jedni od retkih koji će nešto shvatiti i biti veći poznavaci umetnosti i kulture od 90% našeg komšiluka i što smo završili visoke umetničke škole samo po sebi ništa ne znači. Izraziti poznavaoci i ljubitelji umetnosti bili su Adolf Hitler i Herman Gering, pa ne treba mnogo pričati o njihovom doprinosu civilizaciji. To što su poznavali umetnost nije ih sprečilo da budu među najvećim zločincima svih vremena. I njihov prijatelj Jozef Mengele je bio jako obrazovan čovek, pa mu obrazovanje nije pružilo ljudskost.
Ne treba tražiti uzvišenost i svetost u umetnosti. Ljudi u umetnost ulaze onakvi kakvi jesu. Neki su gordi, neki željni slave, neki su krotki, bezazleni, saosećajni, srećni, tužni. I te osobine koje ljudi nose sa sobom odražava se na njihova dela, a naše je da li ćemo doživeti transfer emocija sa njima. Ne moramo nužno imati neograničeno znanje iz istorije umetnosti i ne moraju iza umetnosti stajati institucije kako bi ona živela. Nama su se devedesetih i dvehiljaditih srušile sve kulturne institucije i sistemi, pa je umetnost nastavila da živi. Međutim, umesto da umetnici rade na obnovi kulturnih institucija, oni većinom rade na odvajanju umetnosti od ljudi. Logično je za očekivati da će na to upražnjeno mesto doći rijaliti programi i cela ta jeftina industrija. I tu nema ljutnje. Oni su odradili posao, vi niste. Ljudi uzimaju ono što je u ponudi. Dok prava umetnost pati od autizma, lažna umetnost napreduje na svim frontovima. A vi umetnici se onda zapitajte kolika je vaša odgovornost u celoj toj situaciji…
